Why Intan Edge

What Sets Our Approach Apart

Malaysian Context Throughout

Every session uses local structures — EPF, KWSP, LHDN, and Malaysian Takaful providers. You will not be handed international content and asked to find the local equivalent on your own.

Small-Group Sessions

Groups are capped at 8 participants. You get real discussion time, can raise specific questions about your situation, and are not lost in a lecture hall of strangers.

Written Materials Included

Printed course notes, templates, and comparison matrices accompany every programme. You leave with reference material you can work through at home, not just a memory of slides.

Plain Language, Not Jargon

Financial concepts are explained clearly, without assuming prior training. Technical terms are introduced only when genuinely needed and always explained in everyday language first.

Flexible Scheduling Options

Weekday evening and Saturday morning options are available for most programmes. Working professionals should not have to choose between attending and fulfilling their daily commitments.

Educators, Not Product Sellers

Our facilitators are educators. There is no product pitch at the end of any session. The aim is that you leave understanding your situation better — what you do with that knowledge is entirely your decision.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Who are these programmes designed for?
Our sessions are designed for salaried professionals and individuals aged 40 and above who receive a salary or retirement income but have not had the opportunity to examine how its structure and associated products affect their long-term financial picture. No prior finance background is needed.
How are the sessions conducted?
Sessions are held at our office in Mont Kiara, Kuala Lumpur. Each session runs approximately 2.5 to 3 hours. Groups are small — a maximum of 8 participants — to allow for genuine discussion and personal questions. Refreshments are provided for all sessions.
Do I need prior financial knowledge to attend?
No. Sessions begin from the basics that most people were never formally taught — how salary components interact with EPF, how annuities are priced, what stewardship of finances means in practice. If you can read your payslip and have a rough sense of your monthly spending, you are adequately prepared.
What happens if I need to miss a session?
Each participant receives written notes covering all session content. Where possible, a missed session may be attended in a subsequent intake at no additional cost, subject to group availability. We ask that any known scheduling conflicts be mentioned in advance so we can plan accordingly.
Are sessions conducted in English?
Yes, all sessions are conducted in English. Written materials include Bahasa Malaysia translations for key technical terms, and facilitators are comfortable providing Bahasa Malaysia clarifications during discussion when participants prefer.
What is the cancellation or refund arrangement?
Written cancellation notice submitted at least 7 calendar days before the first session qualifies for a full refund. Cancellations received within 7 days of the start date are assessed individually. Participant substitutions are accepted at any time before the programme begins.
Will EPF and tax matters be covered?
EPF contribution structures and their implications are a central component of the Salary Structuring session. LHDN tax treatment of allowances and benefits is also covered in that session. The Stewardship Programme includes tax-aware budgeting as part of the broader financial picture.
Is there a product sale at the end of the sessions?
No. Intan Edge is an education provider, not a financial product distributor. Our facilitators do not hold sales targets and are not affiliated with any insurance, investment, or banking institution for the purpose of these sessions. What you choose to do with what you learn is entirely your own decision.
