Programmes
Each Intan Edge programme addresses a distinct area of financial knowledge relevant to where you are at 40 and beyond — structured for working professionals who want depth, not just overview.
← Back to HomeOur Methodology
Every programme at Intan Edge follows a consistent educational structure: we build from the foundational concepts outward, grounding each session in Malaysian data and regulation before moving to personal application. Participants leave not just informed but equipped.
Sessions are conducted in small cohorts where dialogue is part of the method — not a secondary activity. Questions are expected, and the pace adjusts accordingly.

Programme 01
A focused two-session engagement for salaried professionals who have never examined how their employment package — its structure, not just its total — shapes their financial trajectory. Most people know their monthly take-home but have not considered how the ratio of basic salary to allowances affects EPF contributions, tax position, and retirement projections.
Session One: Understanding the Structure
Concepts, definitions, Malaysian regulatory context, EPF and LHDN implications reviewed.
Session Two: Applied to Your Package
Participants work through the analysis template using their own salary components. Questions addressed in context.
Session One: What Annuities Are and Are Not
Core concepts, how annuities work mechanically, and common misconceptions cleared.
Session Two: Malaysian Market Overview
Conventional and Takaful products, pricing factors, and what differentiates available options.
Session Three: Payout Structures and Timing
Deferred vs. immediate, fixed vs. variable, and how timing interacts with retirement strategy.
Session Four: Working Through the Matrix
Participants apply the comparison matrix to evaluate options relevant to their own retirement horizon.
Programme 02
A four-session course that takes the complexity out of annuity products and pension-like income structures available in Malaysia. Many people approaching retirement have heard of annuities but feel uncertain about how they work, whether they are appropriate, and how to compare the options available. This course builds that understanding methodically.
Programme 03
A six-session programme built around the idea that financial resources are best managed as a trust — not merely accumulated and spent, but handled with intention for oneself, one's family, and one's community. This is the most comprehensive programme Intan Edge offers, and the one that goes most deeply into values alongside planning.
Includes quarterly follow-up sessions for twelve months after completion — acknowledging that plans need revisiting as circumstances evolve.
Most Comprehensive Programme
Financial values clarification and values-based budgeting foundations
Saving, investment ethics, and responsible debt management
Family wealth communication, legacy intention, stewardship plan completion
Quarterly check-ins across the following year to review and adjust the plan

Standards
Facilitators do not recommend or sell financial products. Their role begins and ends with education.
All regulatory references, product examples, and comparison data are sourced from the Malaysian market.
Groups are intentionally small to enable real dialogue rather than passive attendance.
Personal financial details shared during sessions remain strictly within the session. No data is retained or shared.
Content is reviewed when Malaysian regulations, EPF policies, or product structures change to keep the material current.
Programme structures align with Continuing Professional Development standards for finance-sector participants.
Pricing
All fees cover the full programme as described — sessions, materials, and included follow-up arrangements. No add-ons, no incremental charges.
